Winter Moon Rising

A personal resiliency group for women

 January-March 2023

  • This year’s theme:

  • The Soul of Awakening

Winter can be such a nourishing time to go within and feel ourselves as buried seeds deep beneath the snows….however without support, often the challenges of darkness and isolation can distract us from the potential this season offers.

The focus of the Winter Moon Rising group will be on increasing our personal resiliency through self-care practices and nature connection as we support each other in our wholeness and explore our intentions for the new year.

The Winter Moon Rising group will meet once a week, on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm for 12-sessions, from the beginning of January to the end of March.  All sessions will be outside and our activities will be arranged around the weather. For example, having a fire circle if we need the extra warmth.

Reciprocity for the group is $480 with a $100 non-refundable deposit is required by December 1. Group size is limited to 10 participants.

When winter comes to a woman’s soul, she withdraws into her inner self, her deepest spaces. She refuses all connection, refutes all arguments that she should engage in the world. She may say she is resting, but she is more than resting. She is creating a new universe within herself, examining and breaking old patterns, destroying what should not be revived, feeding in secret what needs to thrive. Winter women are those who bring into the next cycle what should be saved. They are the deep conservators of knowledge and power. Not for nothing did ancient peoples honor the grandmother. In her calm, deliberateness, she winters over our truth, she freezes out false-heartedness. Look into her eyes, the winter woman…their gray spaciousness you can see the future. Look out of your own winter eyes. You too can see the future.”
